JD.... earlier you said the "lizard men" might not be able to find Caytes cause of the Sirenali but I re-read cloud series and they found them in the white house when Zoran/Phillips was there and he was a Sirenali.
I think that Quinn knows more than she is revealing in the books cause she confirmed things about herself and the orb but didn't say it out loud. I think little Liron was reincarnated like the mighty did into a new body but werent told who they were till they were 16. Just cause Quinn said Liron will have brown wings and takes after his mother in art doesn't mean he isn't a God. Also I do not like Wimla"s superior attitude. She didn't seem to have that before. Maybe cause she was the one to get pregnant. So many questions.... so many twists and ways things could go differently (sigh) I just love the way Connie's mind works
The only gods, that we know of, that are born into a mortal form are the mighty. The higher echelon gods can remove the power of lower level gods, but granting anything higher than Saa Thallar, except on a temporary basis, seems to be reserved for the Mighty.
I suspect young Liron is nothing more than Avii.
Liron the god may have sent his essence into the Orb and may be trying to direct / control Quin via the Orb. I don't think Liron was a rogue per se, more likely caught up in events requiring an unusual solution. Although he still has a lot of questions to answer, treating Quin as a puppet is not, in my opinion, acceptable.

My theory is still solid. I think the lizard dudes just finally got lucky and caught up to him, what they wanted was the remainder of the Resurrection Drug, not so much Philips or the people it was used on. Philips had been reeking havoc for a while an maybe he finally got on their radar. Once he revealed himself they swooped in. Just a Theory.
If there is only the one shot of the RD drug they might not come after Cayates' group at all even if he didn't have the Sirenali

yeah what you said. I was typing it in a hurry and I remember typing "reaking" an saw that I had misspelled it. I am not sure why I ended up with "reeking" instead of "wreaking" when I went back to change it. I'll claim fat fingers or temporary brain death, which ever is believable
