This has been bothering me since I read it. At the end of the book 'Breanne's Journal', Breanne bends time and goes back to where the Green Faye tried to repair Le-Ath Veronis' core and she brings Corent and Willow back to life. The problem I have is Corent was already alive in her current timeline. how is this possible? she hadn't had the power to save him until 20-40 years in his future, which wouldn't exist, because he would be dead... and how would she know to do it?
Then she says " I gathered power about me and smiled into the wind and reversed time for Le-Ath Veronis." any idea what this means? or is this supposed to justify the above conundrum. Which would sort of allow her to do all the "shining Woman" things though it would seem like she would need to reverse time for a lot more than just Le-Ath Veronis.
on another note: how powerful does a being need to be to do a mind cloud? and who all does it affect? it seems not to affect the nameless ones and above.. i think. and how would a this being know to place one to affect Breanne's treatment and why? why not just kill her and be done with it.
Got it on my mind to change my ways, but I don't think I can be anything other than me.

The timeline she is in requires that she go back to fix the core and revive Corent and Willow. If she doesn't, the timeline changes.

I think it is more than just a time reversal. For a pure time reversal the stream for the whole universe would change. This just changed the specific event(s) related to draining Le-Ath Veronis' core.

I am certain Connie will be developing this topic as the series rolls along.
JD this is an example of what only a few of the gods (specifically only one of the 3 mighty and the One) and a small group of the larentii can do to greater or lesser degrees. Its called changing what was its an ability which only Breanne as the mighty heart is able to do on a large scale and a group of larentii called the wise ones are able to do on a smaller induvidual scale as demonstrated when they bought Reah back to life. It means they can reverse an event including death (or the immenent destruction of a planet in the case of the mighty heart)
JD, I do understand how you feel about the 'Changing What Was'. I agree with what Alfred and robbytonk wrote but it still leaves me with questions. It was the same with Galvin and Teeg being alive at the same time. They could have met! So I end up just believing that this is what happened and that it could happen -- It is more of a belief rather than logical explanation.
I also agree about the food part -- especially in the High Demon series. Here we got a lot of people tasting gishi fruit ice cream for the first time.
