One other thing I noticed there are twopeople in Kays mind. now what if the timelines were split somehow? could Breanna fix that by taking kay back to the timeline where her mind split? I am just thinking here?
If I had to guess how Breanne is going to fix the timeline issue she'll probably just take Kay and herself to the moment the portal is opened and keep them shielded so that the older Ashe can't see them but the people on the other side of the portal can. Does that make sense?
Personally Kifirin's response to his father about being watched and told what to do is a worry as we know that Kifirin often has a "dummy spit". He seems to react without thinking through all the consequences and has a huge sense of self importance. Now that has been taken away from him as a punishment for his treatment of Reah so will he take it as due or react.
Norian needs to be taken out behind a shed and shown exactly how it feels to be a victim.
Teeg - really starting to dislike him - how did he become such an asshat - ok he was taken from his family at age 15 but Dee is a wonderful person and would have been a great role model. He is still seeming to want Reah but still does not treat her as she deserves, has also broken his promise about compulsion and hurt another woman deliberately - mind cloud but still there is wrong and right.
Okay, take a step back ... a deep breath ... and prepare for a little mind bending ...
1) It has been stated that Norian has important role is keeping the Reth Alliance going. To date the best we have seen from Norian (in my opinion) is others keeping him from tearing it apart with his thoughtless acts. If you follow these two thoughts through, this means that somewhere down the line Norian has to get his cranium removed from his rectum and start contributing ... scary huh?
2) Teeg ... hmm pissing off the one person that could send him back to being Chash?? and might just do it to achieve an attitude adjustment ... difik. I can't see the Campiaan Alliance surviving without Teeg ... or with him as he spirals down the moral drain ... something has to give here, the imbalance can't be sustainable.
3) Kal vs one of the Mighty ... place your bets ... lol
4) Kay, I think a lot of people are trying to hard ... and overlooking something that, I think, is obvious ... there are things going on that NEED to happen before Ashe and Kay can be together ... we have seen several hinted at in the Ir'Indicti series.
Reading is a gift to yourself that you can share with everyone.
Connie mentioned that she was finally able to write the scene that she'd waited 20+ books to write. So would that be the final scene with Lissa and Merrill?
LauraD - it could well be, sure didn't expect that one and it made me smile where the rest of the book I veered between indignation, sadness and just plain pissed off at certain characters and situations. (not forgetting to cheer when Breanne kicked ass)
Larry - as usual, you make me think and remember things that occurred to me as I was reading the book. Think I'm gonna sit on the fence with Kal; the slap-down from Ferrigar seemed to give him pause.
