Storyline

I think there was a mind cloud on Cheedas based on the following scene when Cheedas is in the dungeon with Breanne:

"who are you?" he asked, staring at me. I blinked at him in shock. A part of him had changed, and I realized after a moment that he'd had a cloud about his mind, just as Gavin did. Somehow, that had been removed.

I agree JeanneM. I also think, for Breanne, that Janis also threatened something or someone she left behind on earth.

Ahhhh i'll forgive poor Cheedas then Totally missed that.

And I know its not really Gavins fault he's been a totally ass due to the cloud but I think I'm looking forward to seeing him grovel when he realises Breanne is one of the Mighty, considering his reaction to Trajan and he's only the right hand man of one of them.

Also does anyone think that maybe Ashe has a mind cloud as he seemed to overact massively when Brianne was in the kitchen?

I don't think Ashe has a mind cloud due to putting protection over his area against it.
However, he did have his button pushed by his seer grandfather who said that Kay would be afraid
of all woman. It was interesting Rabis voice changed at the end. I wonder if he was influenced at the end of his sentence to get Ashe to react the way he did?

True, though Ashe and Trajan do leave the shielded area upon occasion for supplies etc. It does seem unlikely admittedly that one of the Mighty would be affected. I was wondering about Rabis aswell as Ashe stands up in surprise if I remember correctly when his voice changes. I just feel bad for poor Trajan (i'll have him!) Haha.

I agree. I feel bad for Trajan and Bill. They still realize Breanne is the one for them.
Trevor, Kooper, and Stellan have the vampire whammy on them to ignore Breanne. Fes is constrained by his worry about if he will repeat his families abuse.

However, now that Breanne is free to bend time and fold. Trajan doesn't look like he is going to have a chance to follow up further until she comes back. That may be hard since she sees Trajan as putting his boss (Ashe) first. I agree, I will take Trajan also! He has also some boosted abilities Ashe gave him.

Lots of good points, however let's not give the whole book away ... we want more people to support Connie ... the million book mark must be reached!!!!
