@ severndust, wasn't the Corent thing explained in the last book when Bree went back to change what was with Corent? It was obvious then that she cared deeply for him and it tied up to lose end of how he survived and what happened to Willow.. Hrm, unless there is the addition of involvement of Kay. Ashe said that Kay and Bree work in tandem at times, it is possible that Bree bends time and Kay changes him, after all he has the Green Fey potential but it never came out in the half children.
There may be something to your point about Corrent. But I can't shake the feeling were going to find he is something more. Clare it not that there is more to be revealed about hank/Hankelous it's obvious some of his actions are being directed by the one and Wisdom. And on that note hehe I knew the ones messengers would have special names but really "the Ear " Connie has a devious sense of humor but did anyone catch that they are also referred to as the shining ones.
I should qualify my earlier comment, Robby, I mean more to reveal to Bree and the others, not to us. He isn't "just" a high demon if we are to believe the earlier things related to him. He also makes the cryptic comment himself "you think I am a high demon?"
I'm excited to see whether they can defeat Acrimus or at least chase him away for a while, since he's very strong.
Possible that Strength and Wisdom take Bree back. Ashe did it already for Lissa once. I also think Wisdom is the one who slammed Bree against the wall.
omg can't wait for the next book! There are just too many unanswered questions. I think Connie wants us to suffer.
just happy that she's quick at writing although a month seems much too long at the moment...
What puzzles me is Gavin. I just can't get an impression what he's really like. Now he seems to be so understanding and considerate. Maybe like you said because of Wisdom but still...
By the way when Perdil talked about loving the mate of the Dark Lord, did he mean Reah? I'm not quite sure 'cause Zendeval sounded so impersonal when he talked about it (he's one of Reah's mates).
@Curly one. Doubtful, Reah isn't the mate of the Dark Lord, I think you may be thinking of Lissa, but again, that is also open to debate as there is now a new Dark Lord, whom could either be the one we saw at the end that came to get Lissa et al when Bree was in trouble (I'm not entirely sure if that wasn't The One) or possibly even Hank is the new Lord of the Dark realm, so if that is the case it is Bree. In either scenario it is definitely not Reah. She has no connection to him at all now and prior it was only that she was a member of the Dark Realm. She hates him in fact.
This does remind me though. Bree and illedvar ... I suspect she is his mate.
