I think in Demon Revenge, Perdil sees Lissa in the dungeon but I thought at that time he was trying to either kill her or hurt her because he lost a lot of his fellow dwarfs and Lissa was responsible for that.
I think Thurlow could be a candidate for the one that threw Breanne back at the beginning of the book. He could tell where she was because he placed a 'power mark'.
Yes, Perdil wanted Lissa dead. I don't think he ever actually met her though but he would at least know she existed. It would be just like Kifirin though to place an m'fiya or something on I'm for Lissa as some sort of cruel and unusual punishment for wanting to kill her...actually this is jogging something in my memory...was something like that done to him?
Actually, I am thinking he wanted her under his thumb rather than dead. Not sure a M'Fiyah had anything to do with it.
One thing to be aware of going forward: the timelines are changing, and what has gone before may not be counted on to resemble how it settles down after the War is decided. Memories are being created and bodies are disappearing.
Yeah everything could change as the timelines are changing. This is so weird! I am not even will to make s stab at the mighty Mind at this point as to many things are happening!
IMHO - sometimes the difference between an asshat and a compassionate person is the ability to see a situation from another perspective. I don't think that Gavin has ever been a BAD guy. He is however a man who allows his emotions to rule him (funny how most of us forget that anger is just one emotion and that it usually is born of fear and hurt). Gavin was an ass to Breanne because he was scared that Lissa wasn't coming back, that Breanne was trying to take her place, and hurt because Lissa didn't explain anything to him (funny how that goes around).
Were his actions right? No. But do they mean that he was mind f'd to show something else? Also NO. I don't think that the Mind compelled him, screwed with his memories or anything else like that. I think that the Mind gave him a gift of expanding his perspective to see MORE and to see DEEPER than ever before.
